“let’s try the no carb noodles” i suggested to my hot hubby.
we were one a date and deciding which entrée to split.
“sure, why not.”
i picked the squash noodles.
now, a reasonable person would assume that SOME pasta would be involved.
if the reasonable person was me.
it was not.
nor am i.
it was pure squash in noodles form.
“this looks different.” i said poking it with my fork.
“DON’T TOUCH IT!!! DON’T TOUCH IT!!! IT’S NOT OUR FOOD!!!”
“it is! we did not order the penne this time.”
“oh,yeah”
first bite……..crunchy….
“mark, i think they used actual squash!” shocked.
“yeah, probably.” him, not so shocked.
“no, like nothing BUT squash!” i tried to make him understand.
i ate squash and did not die.
i ate a vegetable and did not die.
“this makes me want to buy some squash and make it at home.” the hubby informed me.
“let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves dear, one good experience does not a veggie eater make.”
i highly recommend Pizza Factory Creamy Pesto Chicken with squash noodles.
caution, squash-asm may occur.
